There are two versions I play this song:
1) Using 1 downstroke for the whole chord and 2 upstrokes just on the bottom
string for each chord. In this case I play "Dm Am E Am" as shown below
2) Using the palm to mute after each chord, and substituting every first "Am" with
a fast "Dm Am" and every secon "Am" with a fast "E Am". This way every line has
"Dm - - Dm Am - - - E - - E Am"
