Played as 3 note fingerstyle chords. Use the thumb to
pick the bass notes first, followed by the index and
middle finger picking upwards together on the other
two strings.
The 4th string/2nd fret will give you the starting
note of E for the vocal pitch.
IGNORE THE CHORD BOX DIAGRAMS that the website
displays, they are generated automatically from a
generic database and often don't show the best
options for a particular chord progression. Just use
the voicings suggested in the text column numbers.
For the Em7 use the open string option unless where
indicated with an asterisk, at those points use the
higher voicing instead.
PLEASE NOTE:
For formatting neatness I have not shown the chords
as, for example, Am7(no5) but all the chord voicings
do not include the 5th in them, just the root, m3
and the 7th.
The only exception being my personal suggestion of
an Am9 to finish the song.
Am7 = 5x55xx Em7 * = x7x78x
Em7 = 0x00xx Dm7 = x5x56x
G7 = 3x34xx Am9 = x07500 N.C. = No chords
In the Bridge tap the beat on the body of the guitar
